Festive gingerbread decoration recipe

This recipe is an all-time favourite, especially in the festive time! It is totally customisable to your preferences, from the icing to the toppings. It is an easy, cheap and fun activity.

Our kit was from Grandma Wilds and is only 99p currently at Lakeland!


Recipe notes

We bought pre-baked gingerbread to use but if you would like to homemake yours, feel free to!

For the toppings, we used ball sprinkles, smarties, stars and fruit diamonds.

The Grandma Wilds kit has 4 biscuits.


Ingredients

• Gingerbread biscuits (pre-baked or baked from scratch)

• Glacé icing (this was included in the kit but we also have a recipe here)

• Your choice of decorations (ball sprinkles included in kit too)


Method

1. Lay your biscuits out on a clean workspace.

2. Carefully use icing tube to pipe out decorations.

3. Place your toppings on the biscuits.

4. Enjoy your gingerbread!
